We are Jeff and Brenda Phillips of Kerens, TX.
We wanted to bring something fun, surprising, and adventurous to Kerens; the kind of place that makes locals smile, but also draws in visitors from neighboring towns to see what this small community has to offer. In 2017, Tim opened Portal, a virtual reality arcade in Seattle with a vision of making virtual reality more social, accessible, and entertaining.
When Tim moved on to other ventures, Brenda traveled to Seattle to bring home a world of new adventures and we now offer over 70 additional games for you to enjoy.
We are continuing a legacy that began in two very different places and on opposite sides of the country giving folks a big-city adventure in the last place they’d expect!

The Portal was created to give Kerens and all the towns around us, a place to laugh, explore, and share experiences you won’t find anywhere else.
Our goal is simple: when families, people on a date night, or employees on a team-building adventure walk out of The Portal, they don’t just feel entertained, they feel eager to come back and try something new all over again.
